Beginner, The Beginner Division is for CrossFitters that are new to CrossFit and need to scale MOST WOD'S at there box. (Weight and or Reps, and have difficulty with the more technical aspects of CrossFit and would need to scale most if not all benchmark WOD'S).
Intermediate is for CrossFitters that complete most of the WODS at there box RXD. But maybe have a few things that need improving on, your sure your not elite or going to next years regional but there is no way you are a beginner (you have your "Fran RXD, but Amanda may take a while).
Advanced, This category is for Athletes who are experienced, who have no need of scaling anything at there box and have no problem with the more technical moments in CrossFit and could complete any benchmark without scaling and would never call themselves beginners or Intermediate.
